Villa Allegra has an Italian name meaning ‘Cheerful’.
Framed by hand-cut stone corners, this imposing villa holds prime position in the middle of a lane and has stunning views of the Ionian sea and surrounding countryside.
Throughout it is bright, light and with an expanse of well proportioned living space there is more than enough elbow room for twice the number of people in which it accommodates.
The kitchen occupies the ‘short’ end of an L shaped open-plan living room, an island unit separates it from the dining and sitting areas. This well organised work space is suitably equipped for holiday catering with a large fridge freezer, ceramic hob and electric oven, microwave and dishwasher.
There is also a guest WC on the ground floor with a washing machine.
The first floor comprises of three en-suite bedrooms with vaulted wood ceilings and a balcony to take in those breath-taking views.
From the classically furnished living and dining areas French doors open to the stone paved terrace which surrounds the 8m x 4m pool. The terrace is furnished for outside living with sunbeds, tables and chairs and a rattan sofa and easy chairs.
Located at the edge of the tiny village of Tzamarelata in Northern Kefalonia, the picturesque harbour of Fiskardo is approx 15 minutes by car and Foki beach is approx a 10 minute drive.
The village of Magganos is 1.7km away where you will find tavernas and two excellent mini markets.
On the coast below the villa, via a winding route, the tiny beach of Alaties is a delightful spot for sun bathing. There is a taverna on the rocks just above the beach which offers ‘the best’ sunset views, it is very popular so to avoid disappointment we recommend that you book well in advance.
